Poseł Piotr Król wystosował interpelację poselską do ministra infrastruktury Andrzeja Adamczyka. Pyta w niej o możliwe remonty szlaków kolejowych, które umożliwią sprawne zorganizowanie komunikacji, gdy rozpocznie się remont linii kolejowej nr 201 będącej alternatywnym połączeniem Bydgoszczy z Trójmiastem.

Plany modernizacji LK 201 zakładają, że nawet przez okres dwóch lat cały jej 170-kilometrowy odcinek będzie wyłączony z użytku. Zdaniem posła Króla, będzie to oznaczało duże utrudnienia komunikacyjne chociażby dla mieszkańców Borów Tucholskich. „Autobusy zastępujące pociągi nie będą w stanie zapewnić tego samego komfortu podróży. Chociażby dlatego, że przejazd nimi potrwa zdecydowanie dłużej” – wskazuje parlamentarzysta Prawa i Sprawiedliwości. Na dowód pokazuje zestawienie czasu podróży pociągów Arriva oraz zastępczej komunikacji autobusowej (ZKA). Wynika z niego, że pokonanie trasy z Bydgoszczy do Chojnic zajmie ponad godzinę dłużej niż obecnie. Podobnie na odcinku Wierzchucinek – Czersk.

Receptą miałoby być wykonanie remontów przyległych linii kolejowych, które umożliwiłyby utrzymanie kolei jako wiodącego środka komunikacji publicznej. Poseł Król w swojej interpelacji wskazuje na konieczność modernizacji LK 208 (Wierzchucinek – Tuchola i dalej do granicy województwa), LK 215 (alternatywny szlak łączący Lipową Tucholską z Bąkiem w województwie pomorskim, przez Czersk i Szlachtę) oraz LK 211 (Kościerzyna – Chojnice). Zdaniem posła Króla, poprawienie jakości tych tras umożliwiłoby również dowożenie materiałów budowlanych na potrzeby modernizacji LK 201. „Swoją koncepcję opieram też na informacjach, że jakość dróg lokalnych w rejonie Borów Tucholskich pozostawia wiele do życzenia, więc wprowadzenie tam ciężarówek dodatkowo pogorszyłoby ich stan” – wskazuje polityk PiS.
